Software in the post-AI era has three vertices: the business logic, the human, and the agent.
Interaction and representation occur at the edges, the interfaces. Synthesis occurs at the vertices. The agent vertex is a crucible: it reads what the logic produces, holds what it knows of the person, and pattern-matches the two into something neither could produce alone.
An application becomes a context factory. It captures, structures and exports precise data about its domain, and hands it to the assistant the user already trusts. Without the agent it's still a good tool. With it, it becomes something much larger.
